Elder Scrolls Online Sets Morrowind Early Access For PC Date On May 22nd

The Elder Scrolls Online’s latest DLC Morrowind is almost upon us. Early access for PC and Mac players who purchased the digital upgrades will begin on May 22nd. For those who got the physical collectors edition, they will need to contact customer support in order to get early access.

There is no news on console (PS4 and Xbox) early access at the moment, so stay tuned for that. Unlike traditional MMOs, ESO is not one to make new content testable by the public. Morrowind did enter the Private Test Server, but there hasn’t been an open beta. Plenty of players are on the fence about the new DLC.

Amidst the excitement that we are actually going back to a beloved region, a lot of players are worried. The patch notes have suggested that a lot of things will be severely impacted by the new class, the Warden. Wardens according to players in the PTS, are competent healers and damage dealers. And the reason many will prefer them over an existing class that can do that, the Templar, is due to nerfs to the latter.

Many feel that Zenimax deliberately did this to encourage more people to buy the DLC and play the Warden class. Regardless, it’s a new class that’s coming to the game on top of a bunch of new content. On the PVP front, Battlegrounds will be extremely popular as players have been wanting structured PVP for a long time.
